You should NEVER have to download an app when talking to any customer service department. This app may have good intentions, but scammers are using it to get your information. He got angry and hung up on me (I just hope there wasn’t enough accessed for them to steal my information). I refused to click on my payment screen and that I didn’t trust what he was trying to do. When I told him he was recording my actions, he continued saying he was trying to help me and that he couldn’t see my screen. He asked me to go to my settings then my payment tab which I refused to do. He asked me to download this app and he started recording my actions on my screen. I gave them the invoice number in the email and he said someone from Texas has been charging to a PayPal account opened under my email for a couple months. I called the number and they claimed to be PayPal. I received an email from PayPal stating someone was trying to fraudulently use my PayPal account for charges (I don’t have a PayPal account, but that doesn’t mean someone didn’t open one in my name). Try restarting you’re device and most of the time that will fix it. It is a just a tab that has locked your screen or device temporarily. Whether it’s your phone or desktop, it’s not actually a virus. IF YOU EVER GET A POP UP SAYING THAT YOU HAVE A VIRUS, NEVER EVER CALL THE NUMBER THEY GIVE YOU. They’re just using legal apps in an illegal manner. Scammers use this app just like they use cash app, but it’s not the apps fault. This app on its own is completely safe as long as the device you’re connecting to is trusted.

This app is not a scam, it’s just a way to connect to another desktop or phone so that you can use it without being there.
